XR in France

If you talk about extended reality and immersive technologies in France or in Europe, you inevitably have to talk about Laval. Laval is a medium-sized city in the northwest of France. Over the past two decades, it has become the hub for extended reality in France and a leading city in the field across Europe. XR4All

XR4ALL is an initiative of the European Commission to streng-then the pan-European XR industry. The European XR scene is still underdeveloped, especially compared to XR in Asia and the USA. XR4All offers members access to a unique network of experts in the field as well as advanced services and support.

Laval Virtual is the first event on immersive technologies and has been held regularly since 1999. Laval Virtual also has a blog that provides infor-mation about the latest developments in immersive technologies. The blog is aimed at all those who want to stay up to date on immersive technologies and/or integrate them into their value chain.

AFXR Association

The AFXR Association is com-mitted to promoting and further expanding augmented reality. The association specializes in im-mersive technologies, virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality. The association represents the XR scene in France and works to defend and promote it in France and worldwide.
