The Arab SMEs Summit – ROWAD 2024, co-hosted by ESCWA and Qatar Development Bank, united two major platforms to support startups and SMEs in the Arab region. With 5,000+ participants from 20+ countries, the event featured exhibitions, panels, workshops, and pitching sessions, driving innovation, sustainability, and regional collaboration. Notably, $368M was pledged by regional and international partners to boost SME growth.
Highlights:
- $368M+ pledged for e-commerce, green tech, and entrepreneurship.
- 120 exhibitors from 6 industries (Qatar, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, and more).
- 18 workshops with 65 experts and 1,400+ participants.
