🧠 Lessons Learned & Advice

What insights or lessons did you gain from your journey? What advice would you give to other SMEs on a similar path?

One of the biggest lessons we learned is that Intellectual Property is not just about protecting ideas—it is a strategic tool that strengthens business growth, attracts partners and investors, and creates opportunities for commercialization and scaling. We also realized the importance of identifying the right protection mechanism for each type of innovation, whether through patents, trade secrets, trademarks, industrial designs, or copyrights.

Our advice to other SMEs is to think about IP early in their innovation journey. Treat it as part of your business strategy, not just a legal requirement. A well-structured IP strategy can increase the value of your innovation, open new partnership opportunities, and support sustainable growth.
