Hand sliding food waste into trash can

In one year, the United States alone wasted around $218 billion of leftover foods. Apart from the food wasted by households, high-end restaurants pay money to dispose of perfectly good and healthy meals as they cannot serve any food that is slightly subpar or stale.

On the other hand, quality food is becoming more and more expensive for the middle class and university students. As such, they resort to unhealthy fast food options.

Description of the Solution:

Establishing a food-selling platform that partners with high-end restaurants to handle their food waste.

The solution can take that problem away by collecting the food and selling it on the platform at a highly discounted price, making high-quality food available to everyone.
