The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an intergovernmental economic organisation with currently 38 member countries worldwide. Currently (as of 2022), however, not a single Arab country is a member of the organization.

The OECD's D4SME Global Initiative provides a platform for OECD governments, large corporations, industry experts, and SMEs to collaborate on digital transformation. Its goal is to encourage information sharing and learning about how to help all SMEs benefit from the digital transformation. Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, and Vodafone are among the multinational firms that have worked with the OECD in this effort.

On their website, you'll find useful background information on the topic, expert assessments, in-depth articles and videos, and an announcement of relevant seminars and workshops: OECD Digital for SMEs
