While owning a car can give you the freedom to make any trip, it also comes with many challenges. The heavy cost of depreciation, maintenance, and insurance to name a few, turn some people away from car ownership, or at least makes it a necessary hassle. This gap was partly addressed by ride-sharing services, however, they did not fully replace car ownership or long-term rental. There is a market need to own a car without the worries that come along.

Invygo, a UAE-based startup, realized the market gap that car rental companies do not fulfill, launching a monthly car rental application in response. Unlike traditional car rental services, subscribers do not have to worry about insurance, maintenance, inspections, or any car-related issues, as they are all covered by Invygo.

Thanks to Invygo’s business model, subscribers enjoy the convenience of choosing their car, asking for assistance, switching, canceling, or upgrading their cars using a mobile app without any paperwork. The rental app took its services further, offering a complimentary delivery and pickup service for its subscribers.

Invygo is currently expanding to other markets starting with Saudi Arabia. They partnered with Careem to give Saudi subscribers access to over 100 affordable and unlimited mileage cars. They successfully raised $1.9 million pre-Series A investment from several investors to support their expansion plan.
