🧠 Lessons Learned & Advice

What insights or lessons did you gain from your journey? What advice would you give to other SMEs on a similar path?

One of the most valuable lessons we learned is that Intellectual Property is much more than legal protection—it is a strategic business asset that can drive commercialization, partnerships, and long-term growth. We also realized the importance of clearly defining ownership, confidentiality, licensing terms, and technology transfer processes from the beginning.

Our advice to other SMEs is to treat IP as an integral part of their business strategy, not as an afterthought. Invest time in building a clear commercialization and licensing framework, protect your core know-how, and use expert guidance to create stronger, more sustainable partnerships.
