Arab Women's Enterprise Fund

The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) and Islamic Development Bank (IDB) are providing £10 million each for the Arab Women’s Enterprise Fund (AWEF) to address barriers to women’s economic inclusion in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. From 2015-20, the programme will work in targeted countries - Egypt, Jordan and the Occupied Palestinian Territories (the OPTs).
