New Technologies and the Global Goals

ICT determines our lives. What was not so long ago a luxury that not everyone could afford as well as the idea that we are all networked and interwoven worldwide at all times is now taken for granted. The Internet in particular is an accelerator for processes, ideas and change, not least in the achievement of all the SDGs. Target C of SDG 9 asks for universal access to ICTs, particularly in least developed countries.
