Existing registrations will automatically transfer to the new dates. The application deadline is extended to 10 October 2023.

Extended until Sep 30: New ASMES 2023 Challenges

 

ESCWA announces two additional challenges for the upcoming Arab SMEs Summit. Entrepreneurs active in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and entrepreneurs who champion disabilities as part of our diverse societies are invited to apply until September 30, 2023.

AI is having a transformative impact on various industries and societies worldwide. The Arab region is no exception: here, too, we are increasingly recognizing the relevance of AI for economic development and social progress. Our first competition for Arab AI SMEs aims to do just that by providing a platform to award the most innovative solutions, discover talent, and drive the development of the AI landscape in the region. We cordially invite Arab SMEs to demonstrate their AI capabilities and showcase their innovative ideas.

The second challenge aims to promote and recognize the creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation of people with disabilities in the Arab business community. We are looking for SMEs in all industries that were founded or are run by people with physical or mental disabilities and have made a significant contribution in their industry.

The winners of these challenges will receive a sponsored invitation to the Arab SME Summit 2023 from December 12-14 in Marrakech.
