A woman sets up her dreams in Ramallah

Full Description: Fatmeh, a 48 year old woman, was running a small catering business from her kitchen. She hardly had a sink or even a fridge to store food, so she made due by offering pickup orders rather than deliveries and dine-ins. Fatmeh, however, had dreams far bigger than that of a small kitchen. She knew that she had to expand, but lacked the skills to do so. 

She signed up to the National Empowerment Fund (NEF), a palestininan organization that offers trainings and grants for aspiring entrepreneurs. There, Fatmeh was taught marketing and management. She also received a small fund to stimulate her business. From there, Fatemah bought a fridge and more sinks and she started inviting customers to her dine-in cafe to eat her specialty pastries.
