Brief Description: A single mother from Palestine launches a paper recycling company

Full Description: Fadia, a divorced graphic design student from Hebron city, and mother of three, was in dire need of income to sustain her household. She knew that she could put her design and art skills to good use, but did not quite know how and what to do. 

Fadia started using waste paper and turning it into paper mache, crafting toys, tools and accessories. Then, she joined the National Empowerment Fund (NEF), a palestininan organization that offers trainings and grants for aspiring entrepreneurs, where she received grants and business training. Through that experience, Fadia tripled her income and currently she’s sustaining her home and paying off her student loans.
