The low average age of the population across the MENA region presents an excellent opportunity for EdTech startups. Since 2018, the financial volume of the EdTech market has been steadily increasing, especially in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Startups thrive particularly well in the ecosystems of smaller MENA countries such as Jordan, where their share is proportionately higher than in larger markets. Nearly half of all innovation technologies in the Middle East and North Africa are related to business and workforce training.
